Alexander van de Ven

is a digital pioneer, co-founding the first UK online car retailer early 2000. He is also the founder of AUTOMANAGER, a specialized international technology-driven vehicle remarketing company serving both volume and premium manufacturers.

He researched cutting-edge automotive distribution concepts through his years of membership, participation, leadership and sponsorship of the International Car Distribution Programme, the Automotive Fellowship International (both in the UK) and the annual Automotive Sector meetings at the IESE Business School in Barcelona.

He is the author of Model Y: Re-engineering Auto Retail and the sponsor of 21st Century Car Distribution In Europe, a project undertaken by 60 MBA students from 40 countries at the IESE Business School. The project was co-sponsored by Roland Berger.

With over 20 years of experience in the field, he has had business dealings with most OEM’s, vehicle dealers, and remarketers. 

He lived and worked in The Netherlands, Germany, Costa Rica, USA, UK, Spain and now resides in Belgium.
